Natixis is looking for a junior-level Credit Analyst to assist in certain aspects of the business development and maintenance of a portfolio of selected prospects and customers in Peru, including but not limited to:

 

§  Customers’ on boarding process

§  Credit process

§  Interaction and support when dealing with Natixis’ various counterparts

§  Reporting

 

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

 

 

  • In collaboration with Natixis NY and Paris, conduct the on-boarding process (e.g. KYC requirements) for clients prospects/new clients.
  • Assist in setting up for new client prospects and customers into Natixis internal systems, including vetting process and credit ratings.
  • Assist in the preparation of One Page company analysis, Business Briefings, Credit Applications, Annual Reviews, and Pricing simulation.
  • Interaction and support when dealing with Natixis’ other business counterparts, e.g. Natixis NY Latam Platform (GEC, GIP, DCM, GTB, etc.)
  • Assist in ad-hoc reports as necessary, e.g. monthly activity reporting to NY Platform and Peruvian authorities (Central Bank and SBS).

 

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in analyzing financial statements and preparing concise analysis, including highly level of attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit analysis and cash flow modeling
  • At least 1 year of experience in a credit or risk department in a bank, insurance or large company
  • Familiarity with Natixis´ systems (including Vetting Process, Credit Rating) or skills to be a quick learner.
  • Mid-level proficiency in customary Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency (reading and writing as a must) in both Spanish and English. French knowledge could be an additional asset when dealing with global headquarters.

  • Critical thinking (using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions)
